Hey All
Hi I'm new here.
Just wanted to let you all know I'm excited about finally having a place to talk tennis with people who follow the sport. I have never really played more than at the rec but I do love the game.
Thanks.
Go James Blake!

Re: Hey All
Welcome! I'm a recently arrived member who was looking for a place to discuss tennis, and I can tell you now that TAT is pretty much perfect for this.

Re: Hey All

mjschaefer,
Welcome to TAT. I've met a few members of the J-block. Have you been to many tournaments with them?
Enjoy the boards!

Re: Hey All
Haha no I haven't. That should probably read "Wannabe Member of J-Block." I've sadly never experienced Pro Tennis live, discounting the Andy Roddick Exhibition I went to in December.

Welcome to TAT, mjschaefer! Hope you enjoy the boards.
Since you're a James Blake fan, and if you haven't read his book Breaking Back, TAT did a book review on it if you're interested in reading it

Re: Hey All
I have read the book. I enjoyed it. The reason James is my favorite probably has less to do with his success as a tennis player and more to do with his "never say die" attitude. His story was very touching. Now I just wish he could put together two great weeks!
My avatar is the logo of the University of Nebraska. Go Huskers.

Actually, the Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program piece from the charity event would probably be more interesting, since we got to talk to James. It's in the "Articles and Interviews" section of the site.
Welcome, MJSchaefer!
De nada
And here's the link to the Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program piece
