Whoa, how do I still have an overall lead when I did so lousy this week.
I'm grateful for small miracles. 7 days until the abyss.

Cool, I think I actually moved up in the standings despite my ability to predict a women's match. Lost my lead in the men's predictions though. Curse you, Kayce. Curse you.

    I've improved from 41st to 36th. I'm stoked.

I've mentally added 12 points to my total Probably won't make a difference in the end, but it may earn me a "inside ptmcmahon's head" medal!

Congrats GVGirl for continuing to lead!

I missed predicting all the contest before the Australian Open and now I see what an uphill battle it is to try to catch up. Well it's a long year and if I don't miss anymore tournaments and get perfect scores and . . . Oh well - it is fun!

Oh it totally is. I was not in the least bit being sarcastic when I said I was stoked to have improved from 41st to 36th, especially since scores are more spread out down lower

Well at least you're beating people who are predicting. I think the only folks I'm ahead of are ones who haven't been competing lately. But that's okay. Right now, I'm 42nd but I have my eyes on Mikel as my next target to pass! Slow and steady wins the race . . . right?

In a desperate attempt to maintain my sanity, I've adjusted my goal to hoping to be within 50 points after the French Open. Otherwise, I don't see any way to make up all this ground.

And we have six tournaments next week... Six new opportunities to completely muck things up.

3rd to 8th. Ouch. I missed one tournament of five, but it turned out to be the most predictable one (Nalbandian).
