    The DC Draw is in

    Roddick and Tursunov first up in Portland. The draw has been made for the 2007 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Final and is as follows:

    Andy Roddick (USA) v Dmitry Tursunov (RUS)
    James Blake (USA) v Mikhail Youzhny (RUS)
    Bob/Mike Bryan (USA) v Igor Andreev/Nikolay Davydenko (RUS)
    Andy Roddick (USA) v Mikhail Youzhny (RUS)
    James Blake (USA) v Dmitry Tursunov (RUS)

    russia seems to be relying on three singles wins. i'm pumped to watch, only one class tomorrow so i come home, get some work done til like 3 and i don't leave the couch.

    Interesting... no Davydenko in singles. Had this been announced before? I'm a little out of the loop with things lately....

    This looks to me like Tarpishev is throwing the doubles point. Or maybe he'll have Igor and Kolya both stay back, in the hopes it'll throw the Bryans off their game.

    Yup, they seem to be banking on two wins over Blake (not outlandish, especially if they can find a way to push them to five sets, yes, Blake finally has one, but he's still not exactly accomplished on that front) and a win over Roddick.

    Not outlandish at all. And if either Roddick or Blake gets hurt on Day 1....

    Davydenko and Andreev are actually the most
    successful option for Russia - they've done well together.

    Tursunov said at the press conference that he didn't know that he would play until the draw ceremony.
