I'm trying very hard NOT to get excited about the Buckeyes again... Seeing as they kind of backed into the#1 spot/got there by default... But this is all really, really good...

We're better than last year dry. Everyone was saying that we'd have an off year with what we lost to the NFL but we are better. Did you see the Penn St game? Get excited dry, get very excited! We'll work Wisky and Illinois at home. Michigan will be a dog fight, but if we can get through that one there will be a chip on Buckeyes' shoulders in the NC game. One at a time, but excitement is warranted!

Boeckman's numbers are comparable to Troy's at this same point last year. Buckeye fans are wondering why he isn't being mentioned in the Heisman race ... or Beanie Wells for that matter.

Have to admit, I'm started to get excited, Sebs. Don't know why, but Wisconsin is often a spoiler for the Buckeyes. I'll be glad when we get that one behind us. And then there's always Michigan. And with Florida out of the mix entirely, who knows?

I'd LOVE to get Florida again, but they're out of it like you said. Any team from the SEC would do. Shut those bastards up! The trouble is, LSU is the only team who stands a chance to make it, and they're likely to lose again. If we play a team like BC and win the NC they'll all be saying "default" championship and like nonsense ...

anyway, not counting chickens before they're chickens ... one at a time. Wisky's not bad this year and they have tripped us before. I'd be worried if it were a road game ... should be a comfortable win for the good guys.
