Not that I'm one to talk. I switched away from Capdeville to Benneteau.
That's what was even more surprising to me. Only one person picked Monaco, yet 8 picked Calleri. 8!

It's because he's prettier. You know how shallow society can be

I blame Dry. He saw Calleri defeat Hewitt live and convinced 7 others Calleri was on to greater things.

I don't think I've ever taken a non seed after round 1 myself...I'm only surprised that so many took him though. Braver than me! I find some people are more suicidal than necessary sometimes, waiting too long to take the top players. The plus side is if their low picks make it through, they'll still be able to freely choose from the top people left, instead of having a few gone.

That may not play out as expected either. Ehy did all the upsets get saved for the middle weekend?

And then there were 15! Suddenly and inexplicably, only 15!

Those who chose Ferrer, Moya, Monaco and Wawrinka (nice call Lone Star) survive to day 8.

I will be starting an "Updated" Men's Picks & Results Thread for our 15 remaining players in the morning. I'll close this thread at that point.

FYI, Even thou he wasn't seeded, Calleri would have been a decent choice along the same lines that Ljubi appeared to be the same against Chela. Calleri was 3-0 H2H with Monaco before today. Let's just say that lot's of tables have been turned.
