I was playing along with Rabbit's post. If there are 2.6 million eyes, there are 1.3 million people in China. Thus the "Great Journalism".

I'm surprised they multiplied by 2 correctly...getting two things right was too much to ask for.

Lol. Last September, my birthday fell on a day when my tennis league team practiced. Someone asked how old I was, and I joked that I was turning 21 for the 2nd time. He paused a few seconds and then said "... 41?"
I had to try not to laugh too hard.

Brent Haber on this women's dubs final:
"The last 7 games resemble the Purina Cat Chow symbol on our scoreline."
He's not wrong (TC does some silly chart with holds of serve in green and breaks in red). But still, what a thing to say.
It might just give #Sh*tChrissieSays a run for its money.
This first set wasn't as bad as that DREADFUL match when the Bondarenkos won this title. Sveta has played some good games, including one when she broke serve all by herself with 4 clean winners. But then she broke herself with 2 UEs and 2 easy balls to the net person.
Neither team is communicating much, which isn't helping matters.

OK, I have great respect for Jerry Rice. As a fan of Bay Area football, it's obligatory. But I have NO idea why Tennis Channel has him as one of the narrators for their "100 Greatest of All Time" series.
His delivery is even less smooth or natural as Family Guy's portrayal of Magic Johnson:

You're not aware of all the similarities between being a wide receiver and a tennis pro? They're almost the same exact thing, except the balls are a little different.

This is CNN's Top Story
Nadal feels the blues as he loses in Madrid
..."He had previously between Verdasco on all 13 of their previous meetings.
It took Verdasco three hours and 11 minutes to beat Nadal in an error-strewn match. Verdasco hit nine double faults but Nadal somehow conspired to lose despite leading 5-2 in the final set.
Next year this will be one less event for my calendar
Rafael Nadal
It brought to an end a 22-match winning streak for Nadal that stretched back to 201."

My local newscast reported on the Roland Garros men's final this morning, which surprised me. No video, but they mentioned how it was Rafa's 7th title, and that he has only lost once ... to Roger Federer in 2009.

From (where else?) Yahoo! sports coverage of Halle:
"Federer is aiming to win his 75th tour title, only two behind all-time leader John McEnroe."
Connors with 106/109 (depending if you count in a few tournaments that were more exos than true tourneys) and Lendl at 94 (I think) are ahead.
Must be a good job (the one at Yahoo!, I mean). No pressures.

That's not even Yahoo. That was an AP article posted on Yahoo

Yeah, I'm beginning to wonder about AP. The other day they posted a story of a girl falling to her death at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone in Yellowstone Park. The accompanying picture was of the Arizona Grand Canyon. CBS and USA had the right picture.

I'm amazed that anyone would think McEnroe held the record. I mean, from where would the AP writer even get that idea?
