A blood bath today. maybe the rain delay will right some of these ships. Tipseravic seems to have woken up, hope the delay doesn't put him back to sleep.

It was great watching Hingis play desperate to stay in the second set. Too bad for the British fans that they didn't get to see an upset.

So I'm planting my one cheek firmly on a bar stool, so I can see all the action.

I think I'll alternate between yummy Columbian coffee, and Anchor Steam beer, because it--like Mr. Querrey--was brewed in San Francisco.

As for the rest of the Querrey pickers, you can stand under my ...

OH, the joys and fun of the pools.

Got to watch Hingis blow the first set tiebreaker live, got to work, saw on the computer that Hingis was serving to stay in the match in the second set (AT DEUCE!!!!!!!!!!!), had to go to a relatively brief meeting, checked live scores....and saw that Hingis was not up anymore on Court 2. SO- thought I was in here.

So, Ms. Hingis you have temporarily kept me out of here- and yet somehow I still feel like

Don't want to pick on you, Scotty, but a lot of Querrey losers here are ordering COLUMBIAN coffee and such. It is COLOMBIAN coffee. Columbian coffee is brewed in DC.
I am still dumbfounded about this Querrey pick. A fast court player with a booming serve losing to a Clay court specialist with a lower ATP ranking. This sport is nuts.

Another Kohlschreiber victim here. Does anyone speak German and know what the name means? I think it has something to do with cabbage, which is fitting given how he played today.

My German is crap (and I'm from the Netherlands, so they're my neighbours ) but I believe "kohl" is indeed cabbage and "schreiber" means writer. But the combination? NO idea

Thanks for the correction, ponchi (I want to follow that with 'and john' because I watched too much C.H.i.P.S growing up).

I always get that wrong, because I was born in ColUmbia, MO. But their coffee sucks, so I'll stick to Colombian in the future.
