Yes. Not sure if they are exactly the same kind, like if one was synthetic, but that is the right steroid name. That's gotta be his 2nd or 3rd suspension, that is too long for a 1st time violator in the MLB.

NEWS: Rob Manfred has apologized for calling the World Series trophy “a huge piece of shit,” and “like a bunch of flags had sex with a porcupine."

After a conference call among owners this afternoon, Major League Baseball is expected to suspend spring training. The league likely will delay the beginning of the regular season as well. At this point, it's a formality that ownership-level sources expect to happen.

This is nothing. MLB is seriously looking to erase every part of this during the pandemic so that basically no punishment is legitimately served. Rather amazing they think this is the right move.

    Today is Bobby Bonilla Day.

Every July 1, Bonilla receives a $1.19 million payment from the New York Mets and will continue to do so until 2035. He retired in 2001.
The day should really be dedicated to his agent, the person who negotiated the deal no?

Bonilla played for nine different teams during his 16-year MLB career, including a portion of the 1998 season with the Dodgers as part of the Mike Piazza trade. He was then dealt to the Mets, who decided to release him after a lackluster 1999 season. One problem: They still owed him $5.9 million for the next season.

The two sides agreed to defer that payment for 10 years, but with an 8% annual interest rate. So by the time Bonilla started receiving those payments, he was owed $29.8 million, which was split into annual payments of $1,193,248.20 over 25 years.

If there is one sport that I would say can be played with a mask on...
Fauci throwing the first pitch. Since Tiny has such small hands, I wonder how many subtle messages can be attached to this selection.
