    Re: Exhibitions

Thanks, Amie. I got it to work.

    I went to sopcast.net instead of sopcast.com

For those of us stuck at work.

    It's 4-4. Rafa was up 4-1

    Re: Exhibitions

    Nadal took the first 7-5.

Are they playing 2 or best of 3 sets? The scoreboard on the site has three sets

Looks weird, doesn't it? Like a badly photoshopped image.

Has anyone commented on the apparent weight loss of Rafael? He looks tremendously thin from his playing days of last year, where he was noticeably bulkier, giving rise to the use of banned substances. Or, am I just reaching?

I'm not watching now, but from Monte Carlo, I think you maybe right. He looked a bit smaller than at the AO even.

Ti-Amie can tell you about Rafa's weight loss regimen.

The difference in bounce is substantial... I am surprised there were SOME holds of serve from grass side...

    Re: Exhibitions

So, the local wins 76 in the third.

Did it looked like it could have been fixed?

I thought it would have been and the scoreline doesn't help.

How did they play the third set if they didn't change sides on changeovers?

Rafa double faulted on his first match point. It wasn't fixed.

They changed sides on all changeovers throughout the entire match. Changed shoes too.

Both sides featured uneven bounces, but the grass was horrible. It was semi-for-real, but neither player ran down every ball they would've (until the breaker, that is) in a real match.

well, that makes a lot more sense than the original proposed 2-sets, one side each format.

    Thanks
