Brady played very well the whole week. She deserved it. I enjoyed watching Teichmann, too. Great defense.

I watched on the free TennisOne app. Anyone ever use it? It's a fun twist. You can choose to be on the live feed - your face and name show up - and you can type in questions. The hosts sometimes bring a viewer into the conversation. Luke Jensen was a regular commetator, and Craig Kardon and other top coaches were often there. The host, Alex, is from Cracked Racquets, which is based in Indianapolis, where i live. I was skeptical at first but ended up loving it.

Cahill said she's leaning toward not playing NY, but wanted to play Prague first. He cited her withdrawal from the Rio Olympics over Zika virus concerns - said she's really careful with that stuff.

Two players that would not be affected by playing in front of empty stands.
    Congrats to Brady.

I didn't mean that as a reflection on the quality of play at the tournament, merely that all of the seeds lost before the semifinals. I agree that Brady played quite well, and she could really be a force in the US Open.

    Congrats to Brady.
Empty stands might have helped Brady in her first WTA final.

Yeah, that name is asking for it. It's the name of the club where the tournament took place (owner organized the tournament, I believe). Kind of a weird name for a club. Might have something to do with its location i Kentucky's bluegrass country.
