"Draw" of the contest of matches

Not quite the right number, but we'll make it work! Went ahead and just randomly shuffled them all.

We'll try to have a poll each match-up for maybe a day or so? Maybe some overwhelming favorites will get subsequent byes till we have a proper bracket size.

    Sorry to point this out:
2005 Aussie Open SF Federer-Safin is in two groups: Group 1 and 8.
Group 19 has the Serena-Dementieva SF at Wimby. Which never happened (fortunately)

    Other than that, looks good!
(And I already know which is the winner, so I will see what everybody else thinks)
    Face it. It's the apocalypse.

I was wondering if that might happen with me largely copy/pasting from others posts. Switched out the dupe with a... ummm... match of some notoriety.

I've been trying to reacquaint myself with some of the older matches. Your substitution is 1) Not that old 2) Too long EVEN THOUGH I watched Safin vs Federer which was 5+ hours long yesterday.

I'm going to try and watch the Evert vs Navratilova today or tomorrow.

The chair in the Nav vs Chrissie match is wearing what in this country would be called an Easter bonnet.

Yup... they are just discussing how to make the round 2 matches. Stay tuned.

(Possibly until the minute I reply)
    A Canadian Slam winner? Inconceivable!

Yes! James is carefully assembling the playing field. Lots of safety precautions nowadays, you know.
