I read later that perhaps it was mistranslated from Chinese and actually they said not yet decided.

I heard about the one in Lexington via the local newspaper. My opinion is that it will still get cancelled. This area is not doing well relative to the virus (not nearly as badly as further south, but not good). We'll see. GH

All large events in NYC will be canceled through September, @NYCMayor says on @CNN
How this affects the US Open is unknown at the moment.

Per Christopher Clarey on my TL, USO is still scheduled to start on its date.

Someone Tweeted an article in German, which was geo-blocked, from a few days ago and excerpted Fed saying that he had talked to USO organizers and they will decide by July 30 if the tournament is a go. This smelled fishy on so many levels - why is Fed dropping that bomb, esp when he's not even playing? But I couldn't see the source to find out. I assume it's total BS.

If Serena will play, the USO will happen in my opinion.

Right about the exo. They hosted a $100k in Feb and the organizers have been aggressive about getting a tour event. I think it will happen. No fans, though. Probably heavily North American field, but it could be a really good field.

Wimbledon is apparently giving out prize money anyway. 12.5k to all who would have been in qualifier draw, and 25k to all who would have been in the main draw.
