"Injured" in his last match. Note the quotes from the person who took Stan in predictions this week so take my bitterness with a grain of salt

The court in Vienna is interesting - as is the fact that the ballkids use racquets (which - as an aside - only makes the incessant required towel-grabbing all that much more aggravating because they have to put the racquet down)

Aren't the ballkids using nets, not rackets? Or was that a tournament last week? I noticed it somewhere recently.

    They use nets in Sweden.

Yes, they are using nets in Vienna. The handle/shape are the same as a tennis racquet, so you could easily mistake it when they're stationary.

Federer cruises past Tsitsipas 64 64. I took him six break points to get a break in the first set, but he then broke him in the first game of the second. As the announcer said, he then "sliced through Tsitsipas like a hot knife through butter". Plenty of those classic one-minute service games.

It was stated after the match that Federer has now won 74 matches in Basel. That seems like an incredible number, given it's only a 32-player (5-round) draw.

Maybe they are counting the ones he won against other ballkids (when he was one)?

Rogers wins for his 103rd career title. He's now 76-9 lifetime in Basel.

I was thinking Nadal in Barcelona might be close in wins. He's only 61-4 there. That's a 56-player draw, so six rounds, but of course Nadal has had a first-round bye ever since his first time there (when he lost to Alex Corretja in the second round).

Of course, Nadal is 91-2 at Roland Garros.
