I was watching that match. I thought I heard the coach say something about boobs, but assumed I'd misheard.

In current action, Monica Puig and Krystyna Pliskova are at 6-6 in the third set. Puig must be very frustrated. Pliskova has 28 aces, and Puig is 0/16 on break points.

Puig pulls it out in two tie-breakers after 2:51. Pliskova had saved a previous match point with a scintillating passing shot. Poor Krystyna just never seems to pull through in these matches.

On further consideration, Kristyna (checked to get the spelling right this time) is the female Karlovic. Sixth on the tour in aces (despite playing many fewer matches than almost everyone else near the top of the list), but hard-pressed to break serve to take advantage of her own service domination.

Nice win for Ostapenko over Mertens. I couldn’t watch any of it but I hope it was her strong play that won her the match, rather than Mertens having a shocker
