How do we find out who will be in the chair for the women's final?

Turn on coverage tomorrow and see who's on court giving out instructions during warm ups?

Interesting...it's something Wimbledon should announce on social media.

I don't wanna wait that long!

I'm guessing it will probably be Alison Hughes--she's a Brit and hasn't been in the chair for a final since 2015. Or maybe James Keovathong, except he did the men's final just last year, so it's probably too soon for him to get the gig again. He chaired the women's final in 2016.

But yeah, there are a few folks I'd rather NOT see in the chair, that's for sure.

Does Lahyani ever work women's matches?

Not sure, and we don't want him. He'll go out of his way to insert himself into the match.

Serena is the oldest finalist in the Open Era, edging out Navratilova.

If Hsieh/Strycova win the title, Strycova will become the new doubles #1. She was also the oldest first time slam singles semifinalist in the Open Era, replacing Vinci. Great tournament for someone who said she'll probably retire this year or next year.

If Cabal/Farah win, they'll replace Mike Bryan at #1. It's also a nice tournament for Mahut, who was recently ditched by his long term partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert, who wanted to cut back on doubles, but then partnered with Andy Murray.

Awful match. Serena wasn’t there and Simona overcompensated by being literally everywhere. I have just never seen Serena’s footwork look so bad. I’m worried about her.

Still an amazing performance on the other side of the net. Simona would have died out there to win a Wimbledon trophy.
