Riske-Bencic is the marquee match of the day for me unless Tsonga brings the goods against Nadal.

Last year Bencic saved multiple match points in the second set against Riske at Wimbledon and won going away in the third. Sadly, that's been Riske's history in big matches--the inability to finish. I'm not sure she will get in the same position this time, but if she does, the close matches she won in the Netherlands on her way to her title a few weeks ago could help her.

Mertens vs Wang is a very good match if anyone can watch, especially in the second set, which Wang just won to level. She has called for trainer now though who is examining her lower back/hips

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!

Down 0-3, 0-40, Riske has come back to win 6-4 in the third set against Bencic, one of the most churlish players ever to walk the face of the earth.

A triumph of good versus evil. And I love the way Riske attacks the net like a true grass courter from a different era.

Serena has really picked up her game today. She actually looks like a contender to go deep now.

Only player that could take her out is Barty. Could. Not will.

Konta vs Stephens is high quality, high intensity. Konta is 3-0 in the h2h but Sloane is a set up here and 5-5 in the second

Edit: Konta has taken the second set 7-5

They're performing CPR on someone in the stands at the Struff/Kukushkin match. Very serious stuff. They have also evacuated that section of the stands to make room for medical personnel.

Sloane was in total control of her match right until the end of set 2, then Konta suddenly found a level I didn’t know that she was capable of, and she maintained it until the end

British comms have reported that the women who received CPR was conscious and talking when medical personnel took her to the hospital. So that is VERY good news.

Struff and Kukushkin are back on court, will have a 5-minute warmup, and Kukushkin will have to serve break point down in the fourth.
