And heavy strapping on her though after. Cirstea got lucky there. She had a chance to end that match much earlier and instead let her back in and almost got upset by a limping player.

A point in the Andreescu-Bouzkova match was just stopped due to multiple birds swooping down on the court
    Thanks for the medal Johanna!

And the umpire refused to call a let. Likely lost Bouzkova the game. Crazy that she didn't call it.

I think I've seen Rafa hit his head about 20 times now today. TSN is loving that clip (and the one from Wimby a couple years ago.)
    Thanks for the medal Johanna!

Struff is pretty good on clay though, right? Maybe clay season just not going to be the best part of Denis' year, at least not yet.

Yes he is, but not for someone who aspires to reach the top 10 sometime soon. Currently #24 in the race, not horrible but not great either.

So all of you who know about the young players. What's the ceiling for Bouzkova? Is anything expected of her? She's looking pretty solid versus Andreescu today, but I've never heard of her before.

I think she'll beat Andreescu today, but I'm not that impressed to be honest. I think it has more to do with Andreescu's lack of much practice and inexperience. Bouzkova seems kind of underpowered to me despite being tall and has no great variety either. Fairly solid though, I wouldn't rule out top 20.

This match is gonna get called after this set. They've been out there for 2 hours through a set and half, no way could they pretend a 3rd set would be completed tonight.

Second set started out with 9 breaks before Bianca finally held serve to force it to a third (tomorrow.)

Chardy-Edmund 5th set and Nara-Jakupvoic third sets tomorrow as well.
    Thanks for the medal Johanna!

That's the match I was watching before TC decided I had to watch Thiem vs Paul...

Yeah, on Tennis Twitter some people have talked about Shapo lacking the discipline in point construction to do well on clay. He has to be more patient, and that's not one of his virtues at this point.
