    Re: Tennis on TV 2019

When the Disney streaming service, Disney Plus, launches, they're offering a bundle with Hulu, Disney Plus, and ESPN+ for $13. I already have Hulu for $6, so it's only $7 more for Disney Plus and ESPN+. I'll definitely get it eventually. I'm just not sure if I'll get it right away, or wait until before the French Open next year, when there's a bunch of tennis that's difficult to stream. (I always think it's really easy to find Australian tennis on Youtube, or their own website.)

Does anyone have ESPN+? Do you ever use it for anything besides slams?

In general, no. Which is why I don't keep it year-round. I believe outside of grand slam tennis, they offer over a dozen World Team Tennis matches but not much else when it comes to our sport. If you follow other sports especially MLS or UFC, it's good. Pretty good for NHL fans. Or if you like any of their original programming like 30 for 30 or Kobe's show or Peyton's new one (a rip off of Kobe's), then it might be good. They do offer a lot of college stuff, but it's something you'd want to check out if they have what you like.

However, it does not give access to the majority of what it shows on ESPN which means no Monday Night Football, no NBA games and while they do have MLB games, it is a very small amount in the grand scheme of what MLB has going on every day. If it airs on an ESPN channel, it basically won't be available for the most part on ESPN+ when it's one of the top 4 sports, but also I think with college football, maybe NCAAB as well, they take this approach.

So really will depend on your interests. It might be worth to have it. I know about the Disney+ launch deal and it's a great one that's worth considering. For me, I do commercial-less Hulu and I'll keep subscribing 3 times during the year to ESPN+ and canceling promptly after the grand slam comes to a close and hope there's something in the additional two weeks that might be worth watching.
