    Time for Week two of the 2019 tennis season, and this Week tennis continues in Auckland, and picks up in Sydney and Hobart.
    Australian Open Qualifying will also air on Tennis Channel.
    This is the final week prior to the Australian Open, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled to the TW Slam HQ.

    Tennis Watchers Weekly Guide Alert

    This week the ATP returns to the tour with action in Montpellier, Sofia, and the new tournament in Cordoba (formally Quito). Tennis Channel will air Cordoba and Montpellier on its main channel, with streaming on TC Plus. Tennis TV will stream all three events this week.

    Tennis Channel will also air the ATP Dallas Challenger event on air and on TC Plus.

    Next weekend is also the first Fed Cup ties of the year.

    2/11/19-2/17/19


    The tours return to action this week with tournaments in Rotterdam, Buenos Aires, New York , and Doha. Tennis Channel will air most of the tennis this week on its Center Court Coverage format wherein they will jump around to multiple tournaments within the same coverage block. Rotterdam, New York, and Doha are covered extensively throughout the week, with Buenos Aires picked up for late week coverage.

    Tennis Channel is also continuing the trend of picking up college tennis matches, with Army vs. Air Force airing next Saturday at 6:30pm.

    The tennis world keeps turning this week in Rio de Janeiro, Delray Beach,Marseille,Dubai, and Budapest. Tennis Channel will continue its coverage of both ATP and WTA with extensive coverage this week.

    Tennis Channel will also air College Tennis this Sunday at 5:30pm with Florida vs. Central Florida.

    Bedene has pulled out of the Rio Open semi with a leg injury.
    So they've moved up the @felixtennis v Cuevas semi to 6pm local. (4pm EST), followed by the doubles.
    Laslo Djere straight into the final. Needless to say, his first.

    Tennis Watchers Weekly Guide Alert

    Hey Tennis Watchers-

    It is one of the biggest stops on the tour this week, as tennis returns to Indian Wells for the next ten days. Qualifying coverage will kick off on Tennis Channel, and ESPN/ABC will pick up starting in the quarterfinals.

    Tennis Channel will also air a daily 1 hour preview show at 12:00pm, with nightly replays of the days matches. There will also be comprehensive streaming coverage with TC Plus, Tennis TV, and ESPN 3 all streaming the event.

    The second half of the sunshine double kicks off this week in a new location, as the Miami Open Tennis Channel and ESPN Networks will air the tournament on TV, as well as stream via TC Plus and ESPN 3.

    Note for fellow Canadians frustrated with lack of WTA coverage: DAZN now has streaming rights to WTA tennis (and ATP 250 events). It's $150 for a year, but you can sign up and get a free first month, and cancel before you get billed for the upcoming year. That 30 days will get you coverage of Miami and Charleston (although their "Day 1" of Miami is Wednesday, which is actually day 2). If you have a smart TV, their app may be already installed on it (it was on mine).

    We signed up to watch the Indian Wells final using that, although there was apparently a last-minute deal to stream it for free on their Facebook page.

    Nearly 100 Hours of Live Play Between Network’s On-Air and Online Platforms

    LOS ANGELES, March 25, 2019 – For the third straight year Tennis Channel will be the exclusive home of the Volvo Car Open in Charleston, S.C., beginning on Monday, April 1. Once again the network will give the tournament comprehensive national exposure with more than 50 live television hours throughout the week. Digital subscription service Tennis Channel Plus will have live matches during the event as well, offering more than 35 hours.

    Between television and digital streaming, Tennis Channel will give fans more than 100 hours of tennis from the Family Circle Tennis Center with live and encore broadcasts. Coverage typically begins at 10 a.m. and continues throughout the day. With two TV courts, Tennis Channel Plus will also provide exclusive outer-court match play.

    Tennis Channel will be on-site with a studio desk at the Volvo Car Open again in 2019, along with lead-in show Tennis Channel Live.     The clay is in full swing, Tennis Watchers! There are 4 tournaments on tap for the week with the WTA in Stuttgart and Istanbul, while the ATP will set up shop in Barcelona and Budapest.
