    It's not in the list above, but guess what? My little cousin was part of one of the nominees for Best Children's Album! She's only in 4th grade! The group is called the Alphabet Rockers (they lost to Lisa Loeb). That whole part of the fam came to NYC this weekend from California and Michigan to celebrate and go to the different appearances and performances the nominees make throughout the weekend before the afternoon Grammy ceremony.

    I thought Bruno was a little embarrassed because his album was not political. But, he did a nice job in that speech of tying it in.

    He is half Filipino, and then Puerto Rican and Ashkenazi Jewish. I find his music fun but really bland (especially 24K Magic) but it does have a very cool mix of historical and geographic influences.
