If you mean the TAT Live Scores, it is a late match, so advance the date til tomorrow. It's scheduled for like 1:15 am (EST)

So, it was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for the people who picked Verdasco, Querrey, Lacko, Wawrinka, Goffin, Medvedev, and Vesely. We are down to 125 players left in the men's pool. And remember, just say "NO!" to No Picks!

I expect to be RED by this time tomorrow. I took an unseeded player before chancing it with Kyrgios.

I think I'm officially adding Verdasco to my never again list. Been lulled by that pretty face for the last time.

Today's picks make me realize I had zero clue what's going to happen in the top half of this draw. Stupid Kyrgios makes this so difficult!

I survived with Fognini but the reason I picked him was I thought Goffin was unbeatable in that section.

So much for that theory. I also really expected Gasquet to lose and take out most of the pool with him. That didn't quite happen.

Verdasco made my blacklist a couple of years ago. I almost picked him, then sternly warned myself to desist, and chose Berdych instead. But I don't expect my luck to last much longer.
I like a lot the crazy bounce

Again, I apologize for not being able to provide any commentary on your selections for Day 5. I have two proposals in the hopper, and that is keeping me hopping!

Here's what you did on Day 5 (we didn't have any No Picks today!!!):

    Edmund: 49
    Carreno Busta: 37
    Cilic: 13
    Schwartzman: 10
    Dimitrov: 4
    Seppi: 4
    Kyrgios: 3
    Dolgopolov: 2
    Karlovic: 2
    Tsonga: 1

TOTAL: 120 remain in the game (for now)

I don't know why so many people (myself included) pinned their hopes on Edmund, who is a limited talent with a latent headcase gene and looking shaky as hell in set 3. The men's pool will finally get a good purge, at least.

Paul Annacone took Schwartzman in the Tennis Channelís version of this game, called Knockout Challenge. Davenport took Nadal. I wonder if she doesnít understand that your pick has to lose soon after the round you choose them, or if she really thinks Schwartzman will beat Nadal.

Re: 2018 AOSP Men's Picks & Results Thread

The Edmund-Basilashvili match has been really strange. Edmund won the first-set TB 7-0 and raced to a 3-1, 15-30 lead in the 2nd set, then dumped four games in a row in about 5 minutes, then had a break point to get back on serve he didn't take.

Then Basilashvili, leading two sets to one, got broken in a 20-minute game that had 15 deuces to fall behind 2-0 and tanked the rest of the set. At one point Basilashvili was 5 of 6 on break points and Edmund was 3 of 17.

The good news is 49 Edmunds are safely through!

I am so glad I didn't check the scores until the crapfest that was Basilashvili-Edmund had ended.
