    Tennis Channel to Air USTA National Winter Championships'

    Boys' and Girls' 18s Singles Finals Live on January 2 at 3:30 ET

    January 1, 2017 -- The USTA today announced that Tennis Channel will air the USTA National Winter Championships' Boys' and Girls' 18s singles finals live on January 2, beginning at 3:30 ET, from the USTA National Campus at Lake Nona in Orlando.

    Sam Gore and Jimmy Arias will call the boys' and girls' singles finals, which will be aired consecutively (order TBD) in the latest production of USTA Junior Competition, both on Tennis Channel and at the USTA National Campus. Tennis Channel aired the Girls' 18s semifinals and finals and the Girls' 16s finals of the USTA National Championships this August in San Diego, while the USTA National Campus played host to the USTA Boys' 12s National Clay Court Championships in July, the finals of which streamed live on ESPN3 and the ESPN app, with Arias in the booth.

    Current professionals who own USTA Winter National titles include: Jack Sock (12s, 2004, and 16s, 2008); Christina McHale (12s, 2004); Donald Young (14s, 2002); Frances Tiafoe (14s, 2011) and Kayla Day (16s, 2013).

    2018 Week 5 1/29/18-2/4/18

    While the first major of the year just finished, tennis keeps moving. This week the WTA travels to St. Petersburg and Taipei City. The first Davis Cup ties will also begin next weekend. beIN will air St. Petersburg on both its main channel and stream via beIN Connect. Taipei City will be streamed on beIN Connect. WTA TV will stream both tournaments.

    Davis Cup will be on Tennis Channel and Tennis Channel Plus.

    For anyone looking to relive the 2018 Australian Open, Tennis Channel will also have match replays throughout the week.

    TENNIS CHANNEL TO AIR ALL SIX COLLEGE MATCHDAYS LIVE IN 2018



    Tennis Channel's First Live College Tennis Series Begins 7 p.m. Saturday with
    Florida and Florida State Men and Women from the USTA National Campus

    ORLANDO, Fla., January 30, 2018 -- The USTA and Tennis Channel today announced that all six College MatchDay events held this year at the USTA National Campus will be carried live on Tennis Channel and Tennis Channel Everywhere -- the first series of live college tennis programming Tennis Channel has ever aired.

    Veteran broadcaster Leif Shiras and former world No. 4 James Blake will call the action, along with former world No. 5 Jimmy Arias serving as the 'sideline' reporter.

    This is the latest of the USTA's efforts to promote college tennis through television partners. Each College MatchDay in 2017 aired live on ESPN3 and WatchESPN, while ESPNU aired the Men's and Women's NCAA Division I Team Championships.

    “College MatchDay demonstrates our commitment to growing college tennis nationwide,” said Virgil Christian, senior director, college tennis, USTA. “Through this partnership with Tennis Channel, tennis fans across the country will be able to experience college tennis at the highest level.”

    “We’re excited to bring fans top-notch college teams live on Tennis Channel,” said Lawrence Randall, executive director, programming, Tennis Channel. “The USTA has created a great platform for showcasing men’s and women’s collegiate tennis and we expect it to resonate with viewers nationwide.”

    The 2018 College MatchDay slate begins this Saturday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m., when the Florida and Florida State men's and women's teams play simultaneous matches at the USTA National Campus' 1,200-seat stadium, the only off-campus facility in the country built specifically for collegiate tennis.     This week the ATP returns to the tour circuit with tournaments in Montpellier, Quito, and Sofia. Tennis Channel will primarily focus on Montpellier this week, with coverage on the main channel. TC Plus will stream Sofia live throughout the week.

    This week also marked big news for Tennis Channel. A revamped website, and an additional channel on TC Plus for streaming. Do you subscribe already? If so, what are your thoughts?

    Next weekend is also the first Fed Cup ties of the year. Tennis Channel will air the US vs. Netherlands tie live, featuring Serena Williams' return to action.

    The tours return to action this week with tournaments in Rotterdam, Buenos Aires, New York , and Doha.

    Tennis Channel will cover Rotterdam and the inaugural New York Open extensively, while Buenos Aires will have matches on TC Plus. TennisTV will stream both Rotterdam and Buenos Aires.

    Doha will be on beIN and beIN Connect. WTA TV will also have live streams.

    This week tennis is quite literally all over the world, with tournaments in Rio de Janeiro, Delray Beach,Marseille,Dubai, and Budapest.

    Tennis Channel will carry Delray Beach and Rio in depth, with Marseille streamed on TennisTV. beIN will carry the WTA Dubai which can also be streamed on WTA TV. Budapest can be seen on WTA TV as well.

    Tennis is all over the world this week with tournaments in Acapulco,So Paulo, and Dubai.

    Tennis Channel has coverage of both Acapulco and Dubai. live, with replays of So Paulo during the overnight hours. Tennis TV will stream all three events. WTA TV will air Acapuclo, and beIN Connect will also pick up a few time slots as well. There did not appear to be any WTA coverage on the beIN TV channel this week.

    Of note, Tennis Channel will air the Oracle Indian Wells challenger finals next weekend as well.

    2018 Week 10 and 11
    3/6/17-3/19/17

    Tennis returns to the desert this week with one of the premier events on the calendar, Indian Wells. This week also kicks off the inaugural Tie Break Tens event at Madison Square Garden, as well as, the Roger Federer Match for Africa. Tie Break Tens will be on ESPN 3 live, ESPN 2 replay, and the Match For Africa will be on Tennis Channel.

    Indian Wells coverage will kick off on Tennis Channel, with ESPN picking up starting with the quarterfinals. There will also be comprehensive streaming coverage with TC Plus, Tennis TV, WTA TV, and ESPN 3 all streaming the event.

    2018 Week 12 and 13 3/19/18-4/1/18

    The second half of the sunshine double kicks of this week with the Miami Open. Coverage will follow a similar format as Indian Wells with Tennis Channel early week coverage and ESPN picking up form the quarterfinals on.
    Tennis Channel will also have classic match replays throughout the fortnight as coverage shifts to ESPN.
