    Quite the emotional reaction from Goerges on match point. I honestly thought she was going to gradually fade into the background. Maybe she'll have a late-career surge?

    I looked at her results from this year. She started 2017 just outside the top 50. Now she's at 18th in the race and qualified for Zhuhai, so she still has a chance to improve that. Her career high is 15th and she's only a few hundred points away from that.

    With her ridiculously elaborate strokes, confidence and rhythm are essential for her. It'll be interesting to see if she can keep building on this momentum.
