    Greeting fellow tennis fanatics

    HI all,

Lifelong tennis fan here, played for many years, now just watch, obsessively.
Equally addicted to online posting, veteran of many sites.
Nadal is my main man; also love the young Canadians Shapovalov and Felix Auger. Also into Thiem, Goffin, Wawrinka, Nishikori, Verdasco, Dimitrov (OK, I just boarded that train after waiting quite awhile in suspicion) Shwatrzman, Simon, Gasquet, MOnfils, and many many more
Tennis is extra interesting now, with Nadal and Fed resurrected; Djok and Murray question marks, next gen breaking through.

Do people post during live matches?

    Look forward to meeting y'all.

Welcome Spin. Just in time as you will be able to join for the Suicide Pool and yes, we do post a lot during matches. There is also a chatroom.
    You will have fun

    Thanks POnchi.
It seems like a very friendly forum--I don't see the usual insults/fighting and bickering I see on the other tennis forums.
    Where's the chat room?

Any insult here will get one banned, so no, you won't find that here.

The fighting is almost always very civilized as well. No flaming.

Plus we repeat ourselves a lot.

    Welcome!

That sounds great. TBH, the two sites I've mainly been on, are way too chronically hostile.
But I like the idea of civilized disagreement, because there's something suspicious and banal about nonstop agreement.
I think I need to look up "flaming". Is there where you keep responding to someone multiple times?

Flaming per Urban Dictionary: To engage in an online argument usually involving unfounded personal attacks by one or more parties.

Chatrooms are located bottom left corner (and I do mean BOTTOM. Further left than the FaceBook and Twitter buttons).
Accepted insults include scallywag, scoundrel and ... that's about it.

    Thanks.
    and ... harlot? LOL
I was just over on men's tennis forum and I already found it creating antagonism in my mood. That took about one minute.
The real test will be a Fedal final, or semi, if we get one.

USO draw out tomorrow, that should create some buzz....
