shtexas, what the hell is up with that picture of the shirt? Not to mention there seems to be something strangely inappropriate about a picture of HRBATY in a suicide pool thread!

Still, every time I see that shirt I think he's wearing it backwards and it was originally intended for Serena Williams, Mary Pierce. and Sandrine Testud.

I take responsibility for some of the turnout. I've been spending a lot of my TAT-time on The Slide. I should've promoted it better.

That, and the fact that it isn't a Slam, are the main causes.

But, this gives us a good chance to see who some of our more active members are.

Actually Kirkus, I was talking about the fact we haved lost 9 of 17 players and we are only about 1/4 of the way through day 2.

actually. shtx, it seems like we are pretty much running on a par course - e lost 50% of our players after two days at the Australian as well. At best right now we have 5 players left on the womens side. All the more reason to get in the practice while you can, with there only being 4 Slam.

I, for one, know for a fact that I'm going to need it.

Well, the contest ends. Dry got his semi pick right, but because of Blake's win tonight, he has no players left to choose tomorrow. Congratulations again, though, on winning the IW Mens Suicide Pool.

Congratulations, Dry, on winning our "practice" Indian Wells Suicide Pool.

And no, we're not disappointed that you didn't beat the draw. None of us got to the final.

Re: Indian Wells Men - Picks and Results Thread

I appreciate the kind words. I really felt like I blew it, especially in retrospect, but I'm over that now and focusing on my Miami strategy.

I must, however, recognize Srichaphan for coming up with one helluva gutsy performance to get me through. Also have to credit Ferrero for getting me through Day 3 in a third-set tiebreaker, in spite of crappy weather.
