Day 3 Men's AO SP Pick

Welcome to Day 3 of the 2017 Australian Open men’s Suicide Pool!

You will be making one pick EACH DAY of the men’s event (NOT one each round), and once you use a player, you can never use him again. There will be a “picks and results thread” posted once the day 3 threads are closed so you can check the choices you have already made.

It is very important you follow the schedule of play for the day posted below.

Post your Day 3 pick by replying IN THIS THREAD. Your pick must be in before the start of play for the day in Melbourne, rain or shine. For day 3, that’s Wednesday (Jan. 18), 11:00 AM in AUSTRALIA. For members in the US, that is Sunday (Jan. 17) 7:00 PM EST. Please do not be late, as we hate making those hard decisions, but we will. This thread will be locked at the deadline, so please don't wait until the last minute or you may find it locked when you hit "post."

If you change your mind after you make your pick, and before the deadline, please make a second post advising us of your change. DO NOT make your change in your original post, as we often go through the posts before closing to begin the task of updating the picks and results, and we might miss a change if you edit your original pick.

Since the object of the game is to pick a player that you are sure is going to win on that day, should your player withdraw, he obviously cannot win her match. You do not get a substitute (lucky loser). You are choosing a player, not a spot in the draw. You might want to scout your player and make sure there is not a known injury or illness issue.

Wednesday's Order of Play consists of all 16 men's matches from the TOP HALF of the men’s draw:

Andy Murray (GBR) [1] vs Andrey Rublev (RUS)
Alex De Minaur (AUS) vs Sam Querrey (USA) [31]
John Isner (USA) [19] vs Mischa Zverev (GER)
Malek Jaziri (TUN) vs Alexander Bublik (KAZ)
Tomas Berdych (CZE) [10] vs Ryan Harrison (USA)
Noah Rubin (USA) vs Roger Federer (SUI) [17]
Lukas Lacko (SVK) vs Dudi Sela (ISR)
Jeremy Chardy (FRA) vs Kei Nishikori (JPN) [5]

Stan Wawrinka (SUI) [4] vs Steve Johnson (USA)
Paolo Lorenzi (ITA) vs Viktor Troicki (SRB) [29]
Diego Schwartzman (ARG) vs Steve Darcis (BEL)
Andreas Seppi (ITA) vs Nick Kyrgios (AUS) [14]
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) [12] vs Dusan Lajovic (SRB)
Karen Khachanov (RUS) vs Jack Sock (USA) [23]
Bernard Tomic (AUS) [27] vs Victor Estrella Burgos (DOM)
Daniel Evans (GBR) vs Marin Cilic (CRO) [7]
