    Re: And the winner is...

I know I'm really late in congratulating mysteryx, but that's wasn't my doing.

In any case, congrats! You fought the good fight!

I'm highly congratulatory. I congratulate people for things they may do in the future.

One thing I don't like, however, is the use of the term "congrats". That just bothers me. It's like if you're too lazy to say the whole word than just shut up.

I'm not fond of "Kudos" either. Where the hell did that come from? Kudos schmoodos.

No. He won the whole contest. Now, if you congratulated someone who only won the first week of the contest , I would have had a problem.

The winking just makes me wonder what newer posters are up to - especially on TEB.

But, my biggest pet peeve is people congratulating top players for winning an early round match.

Congrats on a great post kirkus...

(Sorry, I just couldn't resist, since I was the most recent violator of that unspoken rule... )

Same could be said for those who call Nadal "Rafa"... Or those who call Kuznetsova "Kuzy"....

    But I digress...

(Do excessive periods at the end of a sentence/phrase annoy you as well???)

I didn't even notice the big red "Congrats" at first. Doh!

It's not a rule. Just a pet peeve of mine.

As far as the periods... I use them all the time. LOL.
