That was exactly my thinking too...thought Stosur when I first looked at matches and then decided against it for some reason...and wound up at Ana.

Beware of picking JJ against Marina folks, very dangerous match.
    I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole...

But... It's like that shiny red "launch" button. Such a bad idea, but there's that deep NEED to press it just because.
    I disapprove of this message

Marina has 4 wins in a row here(qualifying plus first round), this is a very dangerous match to pick, there are lots of other matches.

C'mon, Kiu. She beat Falconi 10-8 in the third. She is ranked below 150, and of her 18 wins this year 5 have been in main draws. She has been playing ITF and Futures all the way, and she is 28, so she is not an up-coming player.
Three times she has made it to the 3rd round of a slam, in a 10 year career.
It is not more dangerous than picking Simona or Safarova. I thought you meant something like an injury.
It's no more scary than Venus going against a qualifier that is 20 and way younger.
Don't scare us, dude! We are nervous enough as it is.

Everclear please - as I forgot again to make a pick for day 2 women's side. I can't remember how many times I've forgotten to make a pick! I wasn't, but it seems like I must have been on everclear last night forgetting to make my day 2 pick.

    Re: Wimbledon SP Losers' Lounge

I'm popping into the Loser's Lounge to save a seat, since due to the rain I need 5 players to win on Thursday in order to stay alive. It's hard enough to have one player in each pool win, but it will be a miracle if three women (Mladenovic, Pliskova and Vinci) and two men (Dolgopolov and Tomic) win on the same day.

Let's start with a couple of screwdrivers (since it is early here in TX) since I see Dolgopolov lost in straights, then a shot of tequila in Bautista Agut's honor. Thankfully, I switched to Querrey but what a close call.

Half-cheeked by Dolgopolov - one less thing to worry about while I'm traveling then next few days.

I'll take a Dogfish Head 90-minute IPA since the Dog man took me out.

    Re: Wimbledon SP Losers' Lounge

No close call for me. Both Mladenovic and Dolgo did me in in just a few hours.
Yoda was right. Dolgo is still too unreliable to be picked in a SP. Mladenovic I am surprised how meekly she went down.
Just a beer. Any beer. It has been a lousy Wimby so far.

    Survived Pouille. Dropped by Dolgopolov.
