    Tapatalk problems?

I've updated and reenabled Tapatalk. But I'm having trouble with it on my iPhone. Can others who use it verify that it is or is not working properly?

I'm hoping that the updated (current version) Tapatalk will resolve the double-posting issue.

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

It looks like our mobile app, Tapatalk, is causing several problems with out forum. It's been disabled for the time being until I can figure out what's going on.

I'm still able to use it. It is working and so is Miami Women's Day 1 on my computer.

You might be seeing posts from a cache. Try a forum or thread that you haven't read yet.

yes, I do this all the time. Probably a bit slower, but I like seeing everything the way I'm used to it.

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

I know Tapatalk is used by many of our members. I'm doing what I can to work through the issues and I'll get it back up as soon as I can. It appears that other forums are also experiencing problems.

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

I've been thinking about giving TAT it's own dedicated Android and iPhone apps, downloadable from Google Play and the App Store. They're a little pricey, but these recent issues might be the catalyst I need to just shut up and do it. I'll do some more research on that possibility.

    Sorry for the problems everyone.

    I'm still working on it.

BTW, I'll be enabling/disabling Tapatalk as I troubleshoot. So don't depend on it if it's on.

Yeah, I've always been using my phone browser for the same reasons. There's no mobile version, you'll just have to zoom in. The upside is that it's the same navigation as the page. If you're on a 4G or good wifi connection, the speed it fine.

EDIT: I stand corrected regarding a mobile version - see Kirk's post below

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

I use Tapatalk because it's a tad easier, but if I had to go back to my phone browser, I'd be fine with that too. There are a few Tapatalk quirks that I'm not really a fan of.

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

FYI, if you visit the forum on your mobile device browser (usually Android/Chrome or iOS/Safari) and scroll to the bottom of the page where you can select different styles, the bottom option is "Default Mobile Style". The first time you come to the forum on your mobile device browser, this mobile style should be selected by default.

This might be an acceptable substitution. I've used it in the past and it seems pretty good.

If this can be used instead of Tapatalk, I think that would be a better option. That would take an outside element completely out of the equation.

    Re: Tapatalk problems?

There are better mobile styles available. If this looks like a viable option I'll gladly buy one of the nicer ones.

I always use my phone browser with chrome and have no issues (other than I don't have a mark all posts read button!)...I don't see anything at the bottom to select styles though so who knows what one I'm using.

It's at the very bottom left, right above the gray. I also use Chrome, so I assume you should see it - unless you are in that style already. I switched to it and had a lot fewer options. If you are, you can click ""Full Site" at the bottom to go back to your default computer forum layout

The layout of the default mobile mode is a bit glitchy for me, some of the bottons aren't right where they should be. I prefer the full site option anyway.
