I like the fact that they play the US Open on a tough course that's going to chew people up - sometimes the PGA score look so ridiculous with some many people at -10 and below - not the most attractive course but great crowds and a course worthy of the worlds best.

Golf is becoming a young men's sport? Tennis is for grown ups?
What is the world coming to?

Jordan is 21 and he is on his way to a Grand Slam, just like Serena.

    British Open is coming soon...

Agreed...I really enjoy the years when winning score is over par...there are plenty of events with low scores, nice to have one or two really tough ones.

    Re: 2015 PGA

I'm working this weekend so was looking forward to getting to watch golf both days ... like Wimbledon and French Open it times perfectly with my shifts. The delays are annoying

Was interesting last night...got too dark to finish round but they obviously were trying to get Tom Watson to finish his round and get a proper late night send off (rather than make him sit around all AM to finish 1-2 holes) and let it go until he finished. Some golfers behind him had stopped 30ish minutes before him (they announced it was "optional" if players kept going.)

They had said they were going to restart nowish...then they have pushed it back 30 minutes twice....might be starting in about an hour. It's already 5 PM today...may be hard to do more than start round 3 at this rate.

They have already pushed the final to Monday, at this rate who know, it can be Tuesday!
    Just kidding.

There has been controversy about today's start, read more here:

This works out good for us folks on this side of the pond, we are five hours behind.

We are just about done with 2nd round, Mr. Johnson is ahead, he is -10 after 2 rounds and leading by a stroke, total 134
Here is where Mr. Woods ended.

    T147 Tiger Woods +7 --> 76 75 - - 151

Lots of movement today with some low scores. Speith has 6 birdies and got up to a tie for the lead. But Irish Amateur Paul Dunne just birdied the 11th to take the outright lead (!) On 12 he missed another birdie by less than a foot.

They said Jordan has to set the pace today and guess what he did? Just that,.
After 16 holes he is -6 for the day, that made up his 5 shot deficit.

Johnson didn't start pretty but it's early for him, he is still in.

The best score for the day is -8, set by Marc Leishman. Jordan can match that with 2 more birdies.

I hate missing all the action due to the time difference.

But I'm excited to see Jordan only 1 stroke back after the 3rd round! I may set the alarm for the middle of the night and at least catch the back nine tomorrow.
    Oh Grigor. You silly man.

    Re: 2015 PGA

I'd highly recommend it...lots of people close to the leaders and it's a good mix of big names and amatuers/lesser known players.

Chuckled at Tirico pointing out that once again Dustin Johnson had a forgetful Sunday at a major...but at least this time he will have a Monday.
