Really looks like the British Open with the lack of trees and the long grass.

Apparently Day has vertigo so these spells aren't uncommon or unexpected.

My co-worker came in, saw us watching it ... and said where in Europe is that?

I'd mistakenly started a conversation for the US Open in "Other Sports Random Random." I'd forgotten this thread was available. I moved about 5 posts over here starting with this one.

    Re: 2015 PGA

I'm having a lot of trouble with the commentators trying to sanitize Patrick Reed's college days. Let alone talking about how he and Jordan Spieth are alike. They're nothing alike. Reed was a cheater in college. Even his college teammates didn't like him. He's arrogant and brash and, imo, bad for the sport.

    Just sayin'.

Today he follows it up with the second lowest round of the day to move into a tie for first. Tied with Dustin Johnson - another frequent major contender but yet to win one - Jordan Spieth and Branden Grace - who has 6 wins in Europe but only one top 20 in a major (18th at Masters in 2013.)

    Re: 2015 PGA

Jordan had 3 birdie chances on the final 3 holes yesterday and just couldn't pull the trigger on any of them. I'm a pretty big Spieth fan and would love to see him win this second major in a row. But how do you cheer against Jason Day? I hope it's a fun final round.

    Re: 2015 PGA

Rory is on fire, -6 for the day thru 14 holes.
He must be putting pressure on the leaders, Jordan did not have a good start.

Oof - now that was an ending. I selfishly enjoyed it in prime time

    Re: 2015 PGA

Wow, heart breaking for Dustin Johnson to lose out on another major title - just collapsed on last hole - and after Spieth almost gave it away on the 17th. I'm glad there not doing a play-off because I would have missed most of it.

    Re: 2015 PGA

Definitely heart breaking for Johnson. His second shot on the 18th was beautiful. I thought for sure there'd be a playoff tomorrow. But I'm glad there won't be. I really like Jordan and am super happy to see this win.

We watched most of Thursday's and Friday's play and all of the weekends. I thought it was an excellent tournament, despite the whining about the greens. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
