I can't believe this. Coria should've been an easy win. I've now bombed out on both sides. I'm so depressed. Or, I would be if I hadn't caught Nadal's practice session on the grandstand last Wednesday. That perks a girl up. Too bad he couldn't keep anything in the court. I also had the good fortune to see Sharapova in a practice match against Harkleroad. Maria is very graceful, even with all the crazy grunts and the hard shots.

I'm fairly certain in the last 18 months, Coria quietly supplanted Lleyton Hewitt as the most disliked player on tour. Perhaps it's my personal bias as well, but he's just not a likeable dude.

I'd like to order a round for the Myskina Party. Okay, it's not so much of a party. It's more like a group of people who didn't think she'd go far but thought she'd at least go to the second round.

So, let's have Boilermakers with Tums chasers.

As for the jukebox, I'll dial up Culture Club's "Victims".

Ouch!! Both my men's day 2 and 3 picks (Mirnyi and Vliegen) just went down within the last two minutes, both in five-setters

I gave them enough notice. So, where is the Vliegen table?

I'll take a seat at the Vliegen table.

Kristof, you nitwit! You're joining Tati on my Never Pick list.

So, out in both the men's and women's draw. Guess I'll see you all in Australia.

Saving places at the Vliegen table.

I knew, knew, knew, knew, knew, knew, knew, KNEW I should've changed my pick away from Vliegen, quickly becoming the Tatiana Golovin of the men's pool.

Three times and each time I've been half-cheeked before the end of the first round.

Anybody know a good Belgian beer?
