Sorry for being a party foul. But you'd think the Cowboys just won the Superbowl. It reminds me of the times Todd Martin would do a high-five lap around the court after winning a set before going on to lose the match.

3-1 was standard before Jones bought the team. There's still plenty of time to go 8-8 for the season.

How stupid is Adrian Peterson? you're released on bail with the condition of 1) NO drug use, and 2) you WILL be pee tested. So what happens?

Adrian Peterson faces arrest, admitted to drug use at drug test

Prosecutors in Montgomery County (Texas) have filed documents to have Adrian Peterson arrested while he's waiting trial for his child negligence case, Fox 26 in Houston reports. According to court records, Peterson, while providing a urine sample on Wednesday, admitted to a staffer that he had smoked "a little weed."

Testing positive for the use of marijuana or any other such drug is a violation of his bond conditions. The Montgomery County district attorney's office would like the presiding judge to put aside Peterson's $15,000 bond and put Peterson in jail.

On Wednesday, Peterson learned that his tentative trial date would be at the earliest on Dec. 1, too late to play in the NFL again in 2014. Peterson's arrest for failing the drug test might hit a delay as first there is a recusal hearing for the current judge on Friday. That would also make it possible to for the trial to start even later.

Peterson faces charges of reckless or negligent injury toward his 4-year-old son and continues to serve an indefinite leave from the Minnesota Vikings.

I don't understand the possible delay in his arrest due to the recusal hearing. Can the outcome of that hearing change the results of his drug test? No.

Forget what thread the Beats/Bose discussion was in:

    Colin Kaepernick fined $10K
    Updated: October 9, 2014, 4:51 PM ET

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick thumbed his nose at authority following Sunday's victory by wearing Beats by Dre headphones around his neck after the NFL signed an exclusive agreement with Bose.

And while his headphones were bright pink, purportedly to pay homage to Breast Cancer Awareness, Kaepernick paid for the indiscretion. He said Thursday the league fined him $10,000.

So did Beats, with whom he has an endorsement deal, pay his fine?

"I'm going to let that be unanswered," Kaepernick said.

This Bose vs Beats by Dre is going to get sticky. The league has a deal with Bose and some players have deals with Beats by Dre.

    Sticky sticky wicket.

Dre and Jimmy Iovine just sold Beats to Apple for $3 Billions dollars. I'm sure they happily coughed up 10k for all the publicity they got out of this.

And btw, Kapernick looks a little foolish with the faux fashion glasses. That whole trend (did LeBron start it?) really needs to end.

Cowboys make mistakes, but when you have a running game to fall back on, no need to panic. Wow!

I'd like to know whose defense the Cowboys stole during the off-season?

The Seahawks helped by playing awfully in almost every position today (exception: Richard Sherman). Giving up that 3 and 20 pass in the 4th quarter was a killer, although what an amazing catch from the Dallas receiver on that play. That was the worst Russell Wilson has played since he's been here.

That was a game changer to be sure. Not only on the field but in the psyche of both teams. Seattle holds them there and my money says Dallas goes home 4-2.

    Not any more.
They still get to play the Redskins and Giants. That gives them 3 more wins (I can't remember if they already played Wash once).
    7-1 by Midseason looks achievable.
(Still, get rid of Jimmy Jones. Doesn't matter what they do, get rid of him. Even if he owns them))
