    Congratulations, sluggo-13, back-to-back YCWJ Champion!

Congratulations to sluggo-13 for winning the 2013 US Open edition of the You Can't Win Jack Contest! He finished with a total of 68. While this isn't the highest score ever, it is remarkable for another reason: sluggo is the only contestant in the past 5 years to correctly identify both the men's and the women's wooden spoon winners! To give you an idea of how rare this accomplishment is, both the men's and women's wooden spoon winners were picked by different contestants in only three other contests since the start of 2009. I don't expect it to happen again any time soon, so sluggo deserves a huge pat on the back along with his medal!

Coming in second was first-time participant MediaGrrl with 54. She also came won win from Djokovic away from winning the whole contest. Great first showing in a tough contest to get used to!

Third was Charlie02123 with 49. He led for much of the contest, but failed at the end.

The women's wooden spoon winner was Chanelle Simmonds. She lost to Chanelle Scheepers, who lost to Caroline Wozniacki, who lost to Camila Giorgi, who lost to Roberta Vinci, who lost to Flavia Pennetta, who lost to Victoria Azarenka, who lost to Serena Williams. Congratulations to MediaGrrl and sluggo-13 for picking Miss Simmonds.

The men's wooden spoon winner was Lukas Lacko. He lost to Somdev Devvarman, who lost to Andreas Seppi, who lost to Denis Istomin, who lost to Andy Murray, who lost to Stanislas Wawrinka, who lost to Novak Djokovic, who lost to Rafael Nadal. Congratulations to mysterX, Togtdyalttai, and once again sluggo-13, for picking Mr. Lacko.

Thank you to dave g for helping me out with the contest, and thank you all for playing! We hope to see you all again at the Australian Open version of this contest in January!
