    I will always have a special place in my heart for her, from when I met her at Indian Wells back in 2008, called her Anna-Lena (as in Groenfeld), and asked to take her picture. Polite as all get out, she stopped, smiled for me, accepted my thank you, and then told me her correct name. And laughed.

    I was going to pick Stosur today and at the last minute decided to go with Knapp instead. I figured a No. 11 seed was too early to pick in the first round. Shows how much I know!

    I logged on a minute ago, distraught because I thought I forgot to make a pick today. I really have no memory of doing so. But I discover I did - I picked Cornet. I'm not much less distraught.
