Women's Day 5 (Thu) RGSP Pick

Bonjour and bienvenue to Day 5 of the Women’s Roland Garros Suicide Pool – 2013 edition.

You will be making one pick EACH DAY of the women’s event (NOT one each round), and once you use a player, you may never use her again. Check the picks and results thread to make sure you don't commit the dreaded "double pick".

It is very important you follow the schedule of play for the day posted below. Since the first round is spread over three days, only a portion of the draw plays each day.

Post your Day 5 pick by replying IN THIS THREAD. Your pick must be in before the start of play for the day in Paris, rain or shine. For day 5, that’s Thursday, May 30, 11:00 AM in PARIS. That is Thursday 2:00 AM Pacific Time. Please do not be late, as we hate making those hard decisions, but we will. This thread will be locked at the deadline, so please don't wait until the last minute or you may find it locked when you hit "post."

If you change your mind after you make your pick, and before the deadline, please make a second post advising us of your change - PLEASE DO NOT make your change in your original post, as we often go through the posts before closing to begin the task of updating the picks and results, and we might miss a change if you edit your original pick.

Since the object of the game is to pick a player that you are sure is going to win on that day, should your player withdraw, she obviously cannot win her match.

    Bonne Chance!

Day 5 consists of only the following 16 matches from the bottom half of the Women's draw. You may NOT pick any of matches held over from a prior day.

    Na Li [6] v Bethanie Mattek-Sands
    Paula Ormaechea [Q] v Yaroslava Shvedova [27]
