Novak/Andy - WHO YA GOT?

Our final match of the 2013 Australian Open, featuring a rematch of the '12 USO final (as well as the third consecutive year these two have faced each other at the Australian).

Career H2H - 10-7 Novak. On hardcourts, 8-6 Novak. In finals, 4-3 Andy. At Slams, 2-1, Nole.

The last two times they have played at Slams, it has gone 5 sets. No matter who wins, here's hoping for another instant classic showdown between these two.

On the face of it I will say Novak to win, but it will not be an easy match and I think it will go to 5 sets. Murray did well against Federer but there were moments you thought Federer would overpower him and win the match when Murray looked to have it wrapped up, Novak is that bit stronger and think this will show.

Novak will not give Andy the truckload of errors that Roger gave him. He will keep the ball in play one last shot, I think.
I would love Andy to pull it out, though. it would make him more "legit" in his standing within "the big four", and would keep him from playing the Michael Chang to their Sampras-Agassi-Courier trilogy.
(Although I believe by now, Fed-Rafa-Nole-Andy are actually bigger than those four I just mentioned)

Short of injury and permanent loss of form Murray will not be a Chang of this generation regardless of win or loss tomorrow. First of all he already has reached 2 more GS finals than Chang ever did and second Roger is on his way out, Nadal is declining as well* and the next generation is fairly weak. That leaves only Djokovic as a serious obstacle.

*Not on clay, but Murray is not that strong on clay anyway.
