2012 TAT Olympics Contest: Fantasy Tennis: How it Works

You are invited to participate in the 2012 TAT Olympics Contest!

The Fantasy Tennis portion of the contest will encompass 4 of the five disciplines: Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles, but NOT Mixed Doubles. Your team will consist not of players, but of countries.

Your team must consist of 7-10 countries out of the 44 which are sending an Olympic Tennis team. You will have 500 credits to spend on your team. Your team may not be the same as a team that has already been posted, or it will be disqualified. We'll do our best to help monitor this. However, the responsibility of adhering to the requirements of this rule falls solely in the hands of the contest participant.

There are no categories to pick from, only credits assigned to countries, ranging from 1 (Liechtenstein, Paraguay) to 247 (United States).

Click here to post your team.

To view the countries and their prices, along with the players participating for each country, click here.

When complete, a team could look something like this:
    Spain (208), Israel (15), Germany (150), France (122), Georgia (3), Paraguay (1), Liechtenstein (1)
    Total: 500

Each player on your team will be awarded points depending on how deep he/she goes in each tournament. The team you choose will last you the entire contest, as there are no trades.

Should your team fall in the nether regions of a TAT lake, so to speak, or if you just want to complain or have a drink to drown your sorrows, feel free to do so in the Royal Purple Box Lounge.

If you have any questions regarding anything in the contest, please click here

Your team must be posted before the scheduled start of main draw play, which begins Saturday, July 28, 2012.
