*Moose: SO sorry- I/we seriously did try to bring some good mojo for Phillip and Ferrer. We did watch the Tsonga match- they both had SO many chances. Mostly this was a very entertaining match to watch live, as you'd expect.

    *
While we were not able to watch V/Serena come back today against Kirilenko/Petrova after being 4-2, 40-15 down in the third (we know this because we could CALMLY!!!! see the Court 2 Scoreboard while we were watching "Seniors" Hingis and Davenport (THIS one's for you, Hurricane!!!!! Both Lindsay and Hingis still play some good ball- albeit the movement for both and of course Lindsay's serve ain't quite what they used to be) vs. Zvereva and Majoli (I would NOT have recognized her in a zillion years- very skinny, with a but of a weird-looking-ish face now. Still a nice serve and groundstrokes, though, for Iva)- John and I DID dare to potentially jinx 'em- and got to see V and Serena destroy Mattek-Sands and Mirza, courtesy of scoring Court 2 tickets at Henman Hill for 5 pounds each- our first time seeing a match on Court 2. SECOND time seeing V playing doubles at Wimbledon- WOO HOO. Except for a few service wobbles from V and some return problems for Serena- they played some terrific tennis. SO thrilled about this- AND, if there's a shot at seeing them again tomorrow......(Fellow Fed fans- FEAR not- we'll be in the air during Rog's SF. First year I/we didn't get to see Roger at WImbledon at all. Hopefully, this will bring him some much needed luck......)

*Sorry- that's all I've got for now, due to yet more exhaustion......

Thanks for the mojo for PEHK, Nelslus. But Jo was mostly outstanding, and deserved the win.

And btw, huge props to ESPN, whose tennis coverage usually leaves me cold. Devoting one channel to Centre Court and a second to Court 1 made for a great day of tennis viewing.

Megan asked about Andy's dad the other day. He was there today.

Can see where the receding hairline is coming from

Ivan remains a true master of 80's Eastern European charisma.

Thanks... I've never seen Papa Murray before.

I wonder if there's a way we could all contact ESPN and tell them how much we enjoyed this coverage and hope they keep it up at all the Slams. I'm sure they get enough complaints -- good comments can help keep good things happening.

I feel like this was only available because of the hour at which it was being shown. Usually they just have Sportscenter going on repeat right? I very much doubt we will get the same kind of coverage at the US Open.

I always heard the baldness gene is passed from the mother's side, meaning the maternal grandfather.

Both my maternal grandfather and father are bald though, so I'm out of luck either way.
