Six o'clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream
But I can't be late
'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid
These are the days
When you wish your bed was already made
Ah, they don't write 'em like they used to.
I'll go out on a limb and say that it's going to be a great day of tennis.

Re: 2012 Wimbledon Day 7 OoP & Discussion
This is the day when someone's gotta get screwed, court-placement-wise, but I think they did a worse job than usual this year. Kim-Kerber on Court 3???

What? You think that is a bigger insult than placing the defending champion on court 3?

Ya I would switch the Radwanska match with Kvitova's match. Rather insulting to Petra in my opinion.

It is insulting to Petra.

Looks like a potentially good day, right?
Also,
More Monday songs!
This week or last week
I don't really care about it anymore
I write myself this later
I tell myself you let me go
Without me
What's wrong with you?
Monday, Monday, Monday
"I'll never fall, never fall like that again
Names, and dates, and faces. Places you were happy
I'll never fall, never fall like that again"

Or it's going to rain most of the day and we will all be left watching 2 not so exciting mens matches. And posting lyrics to our fave songs about rain and Mondays.
Only reason I could think why Petra wasn't at least on court 2 is because they were aligning it with the Serena match, with an eye towards tomorrow. More cynically, Petra is prob one of the least likely to complain about such things.
Will always be issues when they play all these matches on the same day.

Or that when she does complain, we are least likely to understand what the hell she is saying.

Re: 2012 Wimbledon Day 7 OoP & Discussion
Schiavone is up a break on Kvitova, about to serve at 4-3. Kvitova had to struggle to hold her last service game. Maybe she's ready to retake the momentum.

Ut oh...Serena received court violation...not sure if she smashed a racquet or had bad language...

Re: 2012 Wimbledon Day 7 OoP & Discussion
Out of nowhere Shvedy Balls breaks Ree twice in the second set to even the match and will now serve first in the third set.

Funny because I saw that similarity last year
In Jaws they needed a bigger boat. Petra needs a bigger court. She could probably have still won that first set with all the break points, but her forehand in particular is a disaster area today (as its been too often this year).
Can't believe the turnaround in the 2nd set with Serena. Though maybe such things should be more expected these days.
