Why should he? He played three sets, which is as much as any women's match.

I think the roof closed added to the heavyness of Rosol groundies were pure dynamite to Rafa! Indoor grass court tennis is for big hitters! I would love if the roof was finished for the 2008 final. A whole lot different story for sure... but as Rafa said "it is what it is", he won 2008 and lost yesterday. I'm ok with this!!!

Goffin had to play with his shirt tucked into his shorts, because of the blue Polo stripes at the bottom!

Most of the time he is within 30 seconds. He has gone over it a number of times and he was actually warned few times. Now, you are saying it is selfish to make someone wait, how about if someone like to take 3 seconds between the points, isn't that also selfish and unfair to returner who likes to concentrate? If anyone ever played a tennis match at any level they would know that taking time and thinking and concentrating is essential in this game. I would argue if someone is playing too fast, he/she is making life more difficult for the returner.

I think there is two different things to keep in mind here. One is that there is a 25 second time limit between points - something that is monitored (we know how often Nadal goes over) but isn't strictly enforced. The second is that a tennis match is to be played to the pace of the server - if the wants to play 3 seconds between points then the receiver is obligated to play at that pace - not that some don't try and slow down fast playing players - gamesmanship is alive and well in tennis.

Imagine how he would react if he had to play Bartoli.

Here it is...well, it's not so much a "bump" as the commentators were saying.

It seems he barely grazes his towel. Much ado over nothing.
    Go time.
