As Novak went down today I realized the error I had made on Wednesday
Since I was convinced that the winner of Fed-Novak would win the tournament and feeling that Djokovic would prevail I went for the sure bet of Fed
I had both Murray and Tsonga; knowing that Murray was 5-1 vs Tsonga I should have picked Jo. thus saving Murray for today and then taking the winner of Novak-Raja for the finals
OTOH; I had already used Daveed; and the Murray win was not a given (no one picked that one and they were 5-5 before the match)
It is so easy in retrospect; I am out of picks for the final; but this is as far as I have ever been; never made it through the semis before.
Congrats to who ever is still standing
I'm out of picks, too, and this is the farthest I've ever gotten, too.
I wasn't convinced that Tsonga or Murray definitely would win their quarterfinals, and I wasn't sure who to pick in their semifinal if they made it that far, so I went the sure route with Federer. Didn't work out, but at the time it seemed ilke the right thing to do even though I thought Djokovic-Federer was close to a toss-up. I never liked my chances to beat the draw.
After saving Federer in last year's US Open, only to see him go from points away to a highly depressing exit, it feels great to stick to my guns and go with Federer again. THE KING IS BACK!!!

Hopefully this plays out like Game of Thrones and he gets killed unexpectedly before getting crowned.
1. If Federer wins I'll be happy to see him do what many thought impossible and still seems unthinkable which is get back to #1 (with Djokvic and nadal playing at an extremely high level even)
2. If Murray wins I'll be happy to get my first Suicide Pool medal, see Wimbledon embrace Murray and it will set up for an absolutely insane Olympic tennis competition!
