Honestly I had a nagging feeling that I'm using Kohlschreiber too early...

It's never too early to use Kohlschreiber

I think that just became a little better. I suddenly have no qualms about holding onto someone here for a SF pick!

His draw has actually opened up nicely. As in, he could quite conceivably make the quarters: Benoit Paire, then Kohlschreiber/Rosol...
(And having made that statement, he shall undoubtedly proceed to fail spectacularly in his next outing.)

Re: Men's Picks & Results
Okay, Rosol has just totally ****ed the suicide pool. 137 people picked PEHK today, expecting him to lose to Rafa on Saturday. How this quarter of the draw is full of question marks, while the other quarter (the Bermuda Triangle) is full of exclamation marks.
Actually, I've just realized that the Wimbledon schedule will ease the pressure considerably. With no play on Sunday, the day eight pick can come from either side of the draw, so we can avoid this half totally.

Yeah that's our saving grace...but still a lot of work to be done just to get that far.

Triocki through...glad I had the guts to pick that...usually I will chicken out in cases like this (can't pick an unranked against a seed, etc.)

Don't know the exact numbers, but I guess we should root for a Janowicz-upset now.

That's why I believe Wimbledon is the easiest of the 4 SP's, Martini. You only have to make 10 picks, and the draw merges in the 4th round. And you only have two days for the early rounds, unlike the French (3 days for first round) or US (three days for the men).

Oh, een better, I'd forgotten that the draws remained split after Monday. I was thinking they went back to halves, like they do in Indian Wells and Miami after the one merged day.
