I was one of the Nalbandian pickers at the French. Considering that was the only main-draw match Ungur won this year, I figured he was unlikely to win again today. And if he did, I was going to pick against him as soon as possible in the US Open pool and then bet big on him at hopefully very long odds.

The top half of the men's draw looks like Djokovic, Federer, and a ton of crapshoots....this is gonna be tough!

    Re: Men's Picks & Results

Hello all! Welcome back, and though many of us are still hoping our Day 2 pick survives, we'll have a breakdown anyways.
And not just any breakdown, but we heed the floor to a walking institution and Wimbledon tradition!

    Yoda please...

Thank you I do. Proceed I will with thoughts about the picks now.

    Bandwagons:
Youzhny: timely decision. Tipsarevic he plays next.

Benneteau: looks good it does, and Darth Federer lies next... still, sure I am not.

Verdasco: picked wisely you have. Simon and then the Dark Lord his doom foretell.

    The rest:
Almagro: my wayward son, carry on.

    F. Mayer: cloudy the future is.

Falla: hmmmm. Difficult task you ask. Not impossible. Focus he must.

Gasquet: with Berdych gone, further he can go. Patience before picking him.

Gulbis: Win two matches in a row? With him it cannot be done.

Istomin: May the Force be with you.

Mahut: I sense much aces in you. Still, impossible to tell the future is.

Monaco: A bad feeling about this I have.

Russell: may you rest in the afterlife.

Simon: difficult challenge he has ahead. Prevail he should.

Tipsarevic: two more rounds he has. Meditate on this you must.

    Troicki: hmmmm.

No Picks: fallen to the Dark Side they have

Or have they been struck down, and become more powerful than you can possibly imagine?

    Awesome recap! Thank you!

Sorry I am... not as sharp when 800 years old you are.

Stepanek: wise I would call it were it not Stepanek. Always doubts there are when he plays. Win, he should.
