Re: Ask Questions About the Wimbledon Suicide Pool Here
Thanks Moose! I'm out of the mens but have avoided the upset bug in the women's draw so far.
Two more questions for you, if you don't mind!
1. Is there going to be a London Olympics suicide pool? There should be
2. Any chance you could tell me what some of the other competitions are besides the tennis grand slam suicide pools?
Cheers

Anytime, Mr. Socko.
We have something in the works for the Olympics - stay tuned, details will be coming.
We also have fantasy tennis played throughhout the year. We also predict winners of each tournament in a season long game, but you have to be here at the beginning of the year to join that. If you would be interested for 2013, send Drop Shot, Patrick or Dry a note.

Check out Green Acres for an example - our current contest. These ones anyone can enter.

An Olympics contest is in the works.
As said above Green Acres is currently going on and the next one -besides the Olympics- is The Hard Road to New York (includes the North American hard court swing leading up to the USO).

So I might not be at a computer tomorrow when the threads are released. Can I have a friend of mine post my pick for me and they just state that the pick is for me in their post?
Wimbledon '04 - US Open '06 - Australian Open '08 - French Open '12

If you get to the finals and your pick loses, is that considered the same result as someone who got to the final but didn't have a pick? I guess it is.. but not sure as it's my first SP.

No, Nivek - a person who gets to the finals and has a remaining pick has outlasted a person who has no pick come the finals.

Other than the virtual medal, are there any prizes for winners?

We have a prize, courtesy of our friend Jon Wertheim from Sports Illustrated. More info will be available tomorrow, as a tiebreak question is involved.
