    Congratulations, PeterSkan!

Peterskan has won the 2012 French Open You Can't Win Jack contest! He finished with 73 points, many of them coming from the men's wooden spoon winner, Eric Prodon. Prodon lost to Horacio Zeballos in the first round, who lost to Kevin Anderson in the second round, who lost to Tomas Berdych in the third round, who lost to Juan Martin del Potro in the fourth round, who lost to Roger Federer in the quarterfinals, who lost to Novak Djokovic in the semifinals, who lost to Rafael Nadal in the final.

Martini4me and dryrunguy took second and third, respectively. It's no coincidence that they were the only other contestants that had Prodon as their first men's pick.

Alize Cornet was the women's wooden spoon winner. She lost to Jie Zheng in the first round, who lost to Aleksandra Wozniak in the second round, who lost to Victoria Azarenka in the third round, who lost to Dominika Cibulkova in the fourth round, who lost to Sam Stosur in the quarterfinals, who lost to Sara Errani in the semifinals, who lost to Maria Sharapova in the final.

Thank you as always to Omegadoom, who filled in quite well in my absence and kept the scores correct too.

Thanks for playing, and we hope to see you again in a couple weeks at the Wimbledon edition of this contest.

Not to toot my own horn, but I also had Prodon as my first men's pick (and I believe Omegadoom did too). I only bring it up because this is the best I've ever done in this contest, and I'm immensely proud of myself that I actually picked a wooden spoon winner!

On a more important note - CONGRATULATIONS Peterskan! You've had a most productive and medal producing French Open! Couldn't happen to a nicer person whom I "know" in cyberspace.
