UPDATED Men's RGSP Picks & Results Thread

Day 11 breakdown:

15 Ferrer
2 Nadal (because they have no choice)
1 Murray (the only one who held him)

We lost the Murray picker, leaving us 17 for Friday's semis. Of those 17, three have only one pick left to make. One with Federer, one with Nadal, and one with Djokovic.

The other 14 can still beat the draw. All have held Nadal.

As to the other pick they held:

4 held Federer
10 held Djokovic

Then, of course, the next question is -

Who will they hold for the final?

Sweet! I don't think I've ever gotten to make an SF pick. I let the heart rule for my top-half SF holdback, I think it's time to let the brain take over and execute the plan...

Well since I cannot win this thing, I'm still totally excited to make it this far. This is only my 6th time playing and (hoping Fed wins tomorrow) it would be cool to just be taken out by the simple fact of running out of picks I suppose. Hoped for a few upsets and didn't get them when I hoped. Oh well, great job everyone and those who run this.

I cannot wait for the Olympics and Wimbledon now! Try to take it one step further next time....

Well, well, well... quite a few have made it this far and have chosen accordingly:

Djokovic 10 - Federer5 : sure, Nole beat Federer a bunch of times, most importantly a few weeks ago at Rome, but he sure has looked mortal here. If he comes out flat and Roger gets his groove going I wouldn't be surprised to see history repeat itself.
On the other hand, Roger's play has been less than stellar... yet we all know how these two relish the big matches and have their own feud going on which might be enough to throw previous form out the window.
My call: Djokovic (saving match points ).

Nadal 2: one person is banking on an upset in the final. If we use track record, it's a long shot for Roger, a question mark for Novak. Still, for this round Nadal should be safe.

The five Federer's are out, leaving, 12 people. But, two of those people are out of picks. So, for the final, we are left with:

9 who can beat the draw with Nadal

1 who can beat the draw with Djokovic

So, we either have a nine-way tie, with nine medals given out; or

SpecialK wins it outright with Novak.
