wow, congrats to the remaining 6 players

I felt very safe with Goerges pick today, and Rus ????? took the bandwagon down

I thought I planned out good, had all my picks still available (except Sloane), and then... *sigh*

anyways, good luck to the 6 who are left

59 began Day 7. There were no 'no-picks.'

The biggest bandwagon, 25 with Goerges, is yet to take the court. But there have already been some surprising upsets:

13 Schiavones are out, as are
10 Pavyluchenkovas, and
5 Suarez-Navarros.

3 Lis,
2 Kvitovas, and
1 Shvedova are safely through.

It's official, only 6 through to Day 8. Just back from a league match (team won 5-0, all matches in straight sets ... woot!). I'll post and red Day 7 picks soon.

Funny, I stayed off the Goerges band wagon only to end up sitting my ass down anyhow. Twas suf and thanks as always to all of the efforts to forum moderators and contest staff put into this!

LOL, I was TOTALLY like, who the heck would pick Patiofurniture*?!??! I had told my partner that an automatic TAT ban should take place for anyone who would even think about taking that hotmess in a pool. (.....AND let it be said, I had posted about my misgivings about taking Julia in the Pick thread- just as I'm about to have misgivings for whoever I take in the men's Pool. Yesterday, my gut had been to go with Shvedova for some reason.....AH, well.)

*Final suggestion: There should be a lifetime ban for anyone who picks any of these morons from either tour.

Alas I was worried about the Frannie pick but couldn't pull the trigger on Varvara or Shvedova. Oh well, it's been a fun ride. Thanks to the organizers for all of their hard work and good luck to the 6 who remain!

I beg to differ. The Bondarenkos and Rezai aren't causing the bandwagon crashes they used to. Pavs may well be good for a couple more...

1 Kerber is still alive.

So Ribbons has become a BIG Sloane Stephens fan, as she'll face Samantha Stosur (match just got moved to Court 1, the bullring).
