Didn't mean to sound rude. I just get frustrated when I see double-picks back-to-back days this early in the event. Easy to do. That's why I try to keep this thread updated.

Thanks again, Drop! In the spirit of sharing Suicide Pool tactics, sometimes I pick players seemingly one round too early because I anticipate that their next round would be too tough to call, and then the following round they'd be out. Take the Monaco and Raonic picks today. I thought both of them were great picks today because the likely Monaco-Raonic match would be a tough one to pick, and I just wouldn't touch it. The winner would get Nadal. So today was really the last day to use either guy, and both were big favorites. I kinda wonder if anyone else is influenced by likely next-round matches that would be too much of a toss-up to touch.

Definitely do that too...at least in the early rounds. Of course when/if you make it later you do have to make some of the toss up picks, but it's a good early strategy when you have lots of options!

I am with you guys. If I pick a player I might not think he or she will definitely lose soon, but I know I will never dare to pick him or her in later rounds. My early WTA picks of Venus and AMG are examples.
