    Re: 2012 Smarty Jones Stakes

Congrats Dry and salmon. Looks like I just missed my third Smarty Jones title by a neck!

Tog, thanks again for running this and I'll look forward to participating next year when the first Saturday in May rolls around once again.

Congratulations to dryrunguy, who used his patented bet-on-every-horse strategy to win this contest. He finished with $105,500. In second was oohsalmon, who hit it big with both of the top two horses in the Belmont, Union Rags and Paynter, and finished with $81,000. Waylandboy-tw came in third with $77,500, but almost made it to 1st, as Paynter brought him within a nose.

Thanks to everyone for playing this contest, and I hope to see you all next year!

Thank you, Tog. I don't play many TAT contests, but I just love this one!

Thanks for running this, Tog! This remains one of my favorite contests as well!

I was out tonight and just saw the race. I can't believe that Paynter nearly went wire-to-wire!

Mike Smith caught on the back stretch of all three races...harsh year!

(Props to my four year old for pointing out "Hey look there is Bodemeister's jockey losing again")
